My first sheet music was G.I. Blues, which I bought at a Nostalgia show in Ottawa, Canada in the 90s. That’s when I started looking for others at Garage sales, or Elvis conventions either in Memphis, or the one In Montreal. Then came E-Bay, and that’s where I bought most of my collection.

My favorites are the ones from his movies that are harder to find, such as Wild in the Country, Viva Las Vegas, Little Egypt, Easy Come, Easy Go, Old MacDonald, Stay Away, Edge of Reality and Let Us Pray.

The ones that have holes where probably kept in a 3-ring binder.

I don’t have any others right now that have interesting information, except for these:

Some sheet music for the same song have totally different images, such as One Night. There’s one in green with Elvis standing, and the other one is red with a side view of Elvis.

There are 2 types of sheet music for If Everyday Was Like Christmas: one with a photo, and mine without. It’s indicated that the song was recorded by Elvis on RCA, but also by Bobby (Red) West on Brent records.

Finally, there is Promised Land which for some strange reason is named The Promised Land.

Best wishes,  Jules Thibault
