1956, RCA 7-EP-45 Elvis Signature record player. RCA designed this unit to commemorate their recording contract with Elvis, and his hit record “Blue Suede Shoes.”
The 7-EP-45 used RCA’s RP-190 record changer with a gray tone arm and matching spindle top. Elvis Presley’s simulated signature appears in gold on the top front right corner. The case color is dark blue with a light blue tweed lid. The interior is all white, with white volume and tone finger wheels.
Affixed to the lower right corner of the tube access panel is a gold sticker designating the model and serial number of the unit (RVG 009489). The RCA name appears in script and is located on the front in white. The carrying handle is made of clear plastic.
