All of Elvis’ 1950’s singles were re-released in March 1959 with new catalog numbers (447-) in RCA Victor’s Gold Standard Series.
In June 1964, five of them were pressed on the new white promotional label and distributed to DJ’s with completely new (or revised) picture sleeves, mainly displaying promotional pictures from the movie ‘Kissin Cousins’. These five picture sleeves were distributed for a relatively short period and are highly sought-after top dollar collector’s items today.
