The photographer was David Willis who took a series of wonderful colour photographs. The Caddy was displayed there between 1 March to 4 March 1968.”

Colonel Parker convinced RCA to buy Elvis’ Gold Cadillac for $24,000 and put it on tour as a promotional tool from 1965-68.
March ’66, photos taken at Dodgers Stadium’s parking lot in Los Angeles, during the filming of ‘Spinout’. Men with Elvis are from RCA, one on the right is Grelun Landon who helped get the Cadillac into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1977.
Postcards of Elvis’ Gold Car On Tour for RCA Victor Records usually the back is blank, but some have an Ad for Elvis’ New Album.

After the Australian & New Zealand tour, Elvis’ Gold Cadillac was returned to the US & later went on display at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, and you can still see it there today.
